Please take NOTICE that a Special Election for Sanitary District No. 2 will be held on:
Wednesday, December 12, 2012, between the hours of 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM EST.
The election will be held at the following locations:
Sanitary District No. 2 Building, 2080 Grand Avenue, Baldwin NY
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, 196 Centennial Avenue, Roosevelt NY
Covert School, Long Beach Road and Willow Street, South Hempstead NY
The purpose of the election is to conduct a Referendum, pursuant to General Municipal Law, Section 780, for the purpose of determining whether or not Sanitary District No. 2 should be DISSOLVED.
Sanitary District No. 2 encompasses and serves the following geographic area:
The hamlets of Baldwin, Roosevelt, and South Hempstead and parts of Freeport, Oceanside, Rockville Centre and Uniondale.
