The District has also worked to cut costs while expanding our collection services. The District has discontinued the use of costly recycling bags and is now purchasing larger blue boxes to handle the addition of the plastics. (Residents are asked to please crush your plastics before placing in the blue box). The materials collected for recycling has also been expanded and residents are reminded to check the new District flyer that was mailed to every home and business that shows the list of items. This information is also available on the website.

The Board of Commissionershas worked diligently to achieve a minimal tax rate increase of 1.8 percent from 2010 to 2011.
